Overview of Mathematics Department
The Department of Mathematics, started its journey in the year 2018 with one faculty member and 10 students. The Department caters to B.Sc. (Honours) course in Mathematics and is continuously upgrading itself according to the changing curriculum and needs of the time of Semester to CBCS to NEP-2020 systems.
The Department aims at providing opportunities for students to explore areas of Mathematics outside the classroom and to enhance and enable students to express mathematical ideas more creatively whilst making them capable, confident and responsible human beings.
The department currently has two permanent faculty members and has a total under-graduate strength of around 21 honours students.
