Institute of distance education formely center for distance education, Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar has allotted a study center at IGG College, Tezu since the University started ODL mode in the year 2006. RGU is offering UG courses in Arts, two certificate courses in Fisheries Technology and English for communication, Master’s programme in Economics, Education, English, Hindi, History and Political Science.
However, the examination center for U.G. Courses is allotted to the college, the same for certificate courses and Master’s programme is at the Rajiv Gandhi University itself.
