Department started to function during the Academic Session 2014-15 with 35 students and one faculty.

                           The students in B. Sc. 2nd semester with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject combination will be eligible to take up Chemistry Major once they are in the 5th Semester from the session 2020-21.
