Overview of Botany Department
The department started functioning from the academic session 2014-15. The first batch of the botany department consisted of 35 students and one faculty. Late Mr. L. Kimsing was the founding teacher of the botany department.The department intends to provide an atmosphere supporting students’ cognitive development. To give students the most recent information, both theoretical and practical, in order to support their core competencies and inquiry-based learning. A botany graduate would be qualified to pursue additional discipline-specific courses as well as to start a career in the area.
